A VERY SPECIAL MOMENT

In the afternoon of July 21st, 2022, a certificate arrived at EONIQ’s workshop at the Mills, Tsuen Wan.

It is the 1st certificate of origin issued for a Made in Hong Kong Skeleton Mechanical Movement

Our founder, Quinn assembled the movement into a prototype watch.

is the very 1st watch with an origin-certified made in Hong Kong mechanical movement.

 

 

 

Made in Hong Kong

The definition of a “made in Hong Kong watch” is different for different countries, but most agree on the following definitions:

  • Most of the value-add occurred in Hong Kong

  • The movement of the watch is made in Hong Kong

With a mechanical movement that is made in Hong Kong, We have the 1st universally accepted made-in-Hong Kong mechanical watch.

The Hong Kong component of this movement:

  • Made in Hong Kong hairspring (The most critical component that keeps the movement accurate)

  • Machined and made in Hong Kong baseplate - The largest component on which all other components are assembled

  • EONIQ’s in-house skeleton baseplate design

  • Component testing, assembly and adjustment are done in EONIQ SIGNATURE micro craft studio

 LIMITED PRODUCTION

Each movement is assembled by hand in our studio by our watchmakers, so even if we want to, we can’t craft as many as we want. If you are interested in owning one (the only 1 currently) origin-certified made in Hong Kong mechanical watch, please sign up and be in the queue.

The Braemar launched on December 1, 2022, and the first Braemar watch was shipped on the same day. We already have quite a few people lining up for the Braemar. we will contact you by email/phone in the order of queuing, and we will charge only after the order details are determined.
